Instructions

 

1️⃣ Cook the Pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

Add pasta and cook until al dente according to package instructions.

Drain and set aside.

2️⃣ Make the Sauce

In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.

Stir in flour and cook for 1–2 minutes until lightly golden.

Gradually whisk in milk, stirring constantly until thickened.

Remove from heat and stir in sour cream, Dijon mustard, and garlic powder. Season with salt and pepper.

3️⃣ Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

4️⃣ Assemble the Casserole

In a 9×13-inch baking dish, layer:

Half of the pasta

Half of the sauerkraut

Half of the sliced sausage

Half of the Swiss cheese

Half of the sauce

Repeat the layers with remaining ingredients.
