Lavender and blackberry cake

🍽️ Instructions :

🔥 Preheat oven to 175°C. Grease and line two 20cm cake pans.

🥣 Whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and chopped lavender.

🎛️ Beat the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, then the vanilla.

🥛 Alternate adding the dry ingredients and the milk, mixing until smooth. Gently fold in the blackberries.

🍰 Divide the batter into the cake pans. Bake for 30-35 minutes. Let cool completely.

Lavender syrup:
6.  🍯 Simmer water, sugar, and lavender for 5 minutes. Strain and let cool. Brush the syrup over the cooled cake layers.

Frosting :
7.  🧁 Beat the butter, gradually adding the powdered sugar. Stir in the vanilla, cream, and lavender, if using, until the mixture is fluffy.

🍇 Arrange the layers and frost the cake. Garnish with blackberries and lavender sprigs.
