Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
In a small bowl, combine honey, pineapple juice, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Whisk until well blended.
Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and season them with salt and pepper.
Generously brush the honey pineapple glaze over the salmon fillets, keeping some aside for basting later.
Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Baste the salmon with the remaining glaze halfway through the cooking time.
Once done, remove the salmon from the oven. If desired, garnish with sliced pineapple and chopped fresh cilantro. Serve hot.
