GRANDMA KISSINGER’S BEST COOKIES IN THE WORLD

Ingredients:

  • 150 g flour
  • 150 g hazelnuts or almonds, ground
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 tsp. leveled baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 100 g butter flakes, cold
  • 150 g chocolate coating for decoration
  • 1 pack of walnuts, halved, for decoration
  • 1 jar of apricot jam for spreading
  • 1 pack of hazelnuts or almonds, ground, for decoration
  • Flour for the work surface

Preparation:

  1. Sift flour and baking powder onto the work surface. Mix in hazelnuts, cinnamon, salt, and sugar.
  2. Put the cold butter on the edge, make a well in the middle and add the egg.
  3. Quickly make a chopped shortcrust pastry from these ingredients.
