Garlic Butter Broiled Lobster Tails

Instructions

1. Prepare the Lobster Tails

  • Using kitchen scissors, cut the top shell of each lobster tail lengthwise from the opening to the base of the tail, stopping just before the fin.

  • Gently spread the shell apart and lift the lobster meat, resting it on top of the shell while keeping it attached at the base.

  • Pat the meat dry with paper towels.

2. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, parsley, paprika, salt, and pepper.

3. Season and Broil

  • Preheat your oven’s broiler to high (500°F / 260°C). Position the rack about 6 inches from the heat source.

  • Place the prepared lobster tails on a baking sheet. Brush generously with the garlic butter mixture.

  • Broil for 5–8 minutes, depending on tail size, until the meat is opaque and slightly browned on top. Avoid overcooking to maintain tenderness.

4. Serve

  • Garnish with extra parsley and a squeeze of fresh lemon.

  • Serve immediately with additional melted butter for dipping, alongside sides like roasted vegetables, garlic mashed potatoes, or a crisp green salad.
