Stages of creation: from plastic to floral poetry
- Cutting the petals:
- Cut the tops off two bottles, about 3-4 cm from the neck.
- On the smaller piece, make 6 shallow cuts.
- On the larger one, cut 12 strips up to the base of the neck.
- Shaping the petals:
- Round the ends to mimic natural petals.
- Bend the ones on the smaller piece outwards, and the ones on the larger piece inwards.
- Flower assembly:
- Glue the two parts together, overlapping the petals to give volume.
- Secure the base with glue for extra strength.
- Creation of the pistil:
- Take a straw and cut one end into thin strips.
- Make notches at the other end to make gluing easier.
