Cream Cheese Crescent Rolls


Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven:
    Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Make the filling:
    In a bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and egg yolk (if using) until smooth and creamy.

  3. Prepare the dough:
    Unroll the crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles along the perforated lines.

  4. Fill and roll:
    Place about 1 tablespoon of cream cheese filling at the wider end of each triangle.
    Roll up the crescent rolls as directed on the package, starting from the wide end and rolling to the tip. Tuck in the sides slightly to keep the filling from leaking out.
