
Comforting Meat Pie Delight
Instructions
Combine flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder. Cut in butter until crumbly. Add eggs and cold water to form dough. Chill for 30 minutes.
Heat oil in a pan, sauté onions, then add carrots and potatoes. Cook until soft. Add ground beef, cook until browned, season with salt, pepper, thyme, and flour.
Roll out the dough, cut into rounds, place filling inside, fold the dough over, and seal the edges.
Brush the pies with egg wash and bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
