Garlic Butter Linguine with Cheesy Beef and Italian Sausage
Ingredients:
12 oz linguine pasta
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tbsp olive oil
5 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 lb ground beef
1/2 lb Italian sausage (mild or spicy, casings removed)
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
1/2 cup beef broth (or pasta water)
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp black pepper
Salt to taste
2 cups baby spinach
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup pasta water.
